Tips

• The Pond is an outdoor rink and subject to mother nature’s whims. Please dress appropriately and check our homepage for any special messaging regarding inclement weather.

• Be sure to bring appropriate skating attire. A winter hat, gloves, and an extra pair of socks always come in handy.

• Since outside food and beverage is not permitted in the Skating Pavilion,  remember to check out The Pond’s dining options, including Ice Bites, Celsius, or select Holiday Shops food vendors.

• As New York City’s premier winter attraction, the line can get long in the evening and on weekends. To skip the line, make sure to purchase a Pond VIP Fastpass in advance using our Online Reservation System, or by visiting the Advance reservation & Information Center in Bryant Park, near the Pond Skating Pavillion.

• Looking for something to do after you skate? Make sure to visit the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park, the city’s most unique holiday shopping experience, open from November 6, 2009 – January 3, 2010. And visit Celsius, our rinkside bar & lounge, offering a full menu and signature cocktails.

• Need cash? Not a problem. The Pond has two Citibank® ATMs located within the Skating Pavilion.

• First time at The Pond? Print our venue guide to locate all of The Pond’s amenities, including your favorites Holiday Shops. For transportation options and directions, Click Here.

• Take advantage of our bag check services and lockers to avoid losing your personal items
